Dr. Kirsten Roling, DDS
Dr. Kirsten Roling completed dental school training at the University of California, San Francisco; during the height of the HIV/AIDS Pandemic.
Dr. Roling is credited as one of the early pioneers of Teledentistry in 2000 during her time as a rural dentist, in the remote wilderness of the Plumas National Forest.
Her clinical practice spans pediatrics to geriatrics. Previously an Assistant Clinical Professor, UCSF; and Public Health Preceptor, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Dr. Roling held the position of Chief for the Office of Oral Health, Maricopa County, Department of Public Health where she administered the nation's largest pediatric oral health prevention programs for the third largest public health department.
As a mobile dental provider to home bound geriatric patients, she administered a large teledentistry practice. She is the recipient of the Pediatric Oral Health Access Program scholarship providing dental services to at risk infants and foster children. Dr. Roling was a prior Subject Matter Review Expert for the American Dental Assistants Association - Continuing Education Program, and completed a program in Advanced Education Methodology through the American Dental Education Association. She is published in the Journal of Public Health Dentistry, and her career was featured in the Arizona Dental Association Publication "Inscriptions" magazine, as well as National Public Radio.
