As part of the terms and conditions of utilizing Dental CE Academy platform as a free and paid source of continuing education and CE credits throughout Dental CE Academy (Virtual Dontics® affiliate sites), you agree to opt in to receive email messages and newsletters from Virtual Dontics® and Dental CE Academy platform and its affiliate websites..
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you visit Virtual Dontics® and the Dental CE Academy website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
What are your mobile terms?
When you provide us with your mobile phone number or you text our toll free number 888-964-3976, you agree that our organization may send you text messages (including SMS and MMS) to that phone number. Our organization may send you up to 6 messages per month. You will receive a confirmation text message, and you may need to reply as instructed to complete registration. Message and data rates apply. Texts may be sent through an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not required to purchase our goods or services. You agree to notify us of any changes to your mobile number and update your account to reflect this change. Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain mobile features and certain mobile features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.
How do I sign up for these text messages?
By sending a text message to 888-964-3976. (Up to 6 messages a month, message and data rates may apply, and you can always text HELP for help & STOP to cancel.) When you opt-in to the service, we will send you an SMS message to confirm your signup.
If at any time you require support send a text Help with your message. After you send the SMS message HELP to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
How do I opt out of these text messages?
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to 888-964-3976. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
Will I be charged for the text messages I receive?
Our organization will never charge you for the text messages you receive however standard message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 6 messages per month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. APPLICABLE LAW

Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

Physician Payment Sunshine Act:
In accordance with the Physician Payment Sunshine Act (“Sunshine Act”), which became effective August 1, 2013, Virtual Dontics® will compile a list of those doctors, for each calendar year, that earn Continuing Education credits valued at $100 or more, based on each Continuing Education Unit valued at $30.00. The list will be sent to the appropriate Continuing Education sponsors to facilitate their Sunshine Act reporting obligations.

If you participate in an online webinar, we may collect from you certain student-generated content, such as questions you submit to instructors and your feedback. We also collect webinar data, such as student responses to in-video quizzes, standalone quizzes, exams, and surveys. You should not include any Personally Identifiable Information or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, on exams or surveys, except for information required to participate or submit such exams or surveys.

Partner sites providing online webinar related tools and services to Virtual Dontics® users may collect non-financial individual level user data regarding the individual’s use of that partner site while engaged with such online webinar related activities, and the partner sites may share that data with Virtual Dontics® for the purpose of improving Virtual Dontics® services, the partner site’s services, and the individual’s education experience. This data includes information such as the amount of time spent on the partner site and pages viewed.
Third Party Credit Card Processing. Virtual Dontics® may provide you with the ability to pay for online webinars and other services using a credit card through a third party payment processing service provider such as PayPal. Please note that our service provider – not Virtual Dontics® – collects and processes your credit card information.

Participation in online webinars. We use the Personally Identifiable Information that we collect from you when you participate in an online webinar through the Site for processing purposes, including but not limited to tracking attendance, progress, and completion of an online webinar. We may also share your Personally Identifiable Information and your performance in a given online webinar with the instructor or instructors who taught the webinar, with teaching assistants or other individuals designated by the instructor or instructors to assist with the creation, modification or operation of the webinar, and with the continuing education sponsors or exhibitors of the online webinar. Also, we may archive this information and/or use it for future communications with you, where we are legally entitled to do so.
Communications with or from Virtual Dontics®. When you send us an email message or otherwise contact us, we may use the information provided by you to respond to your communication and/or as described in this Privacy Policy. We may also archive this information and/or use it for future communications with you where we are legally entitled to do so.
