DESCRIPTION: The intent of this course is to provide dental practitioners with a solid foundation of functional psychotherapies to use within the dental workplace. Participants will learn the fundamental concepts and techniques from the framework of Internal Family Systems therapy in order to apply them in the dental setting and beyond. This evidence-based framework will equip you with new tools that can identify, troubleshoot, and manage dental anxiety, fears, patient compliance, staff management, and burn-out.

Dr. Vigarny A. Arguello Jr. DMD: Dentist, Inventor, Entrepreneur
Dr. Vigarny A. Arguello Jr. is a dentist, inventor and entrepreneur. Coming from a family with strong roots in medicine, Dr. Arguello naturally gravitated towards this industry. He graduated from Florida International University majoring in chemistry and then Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is the co-founder of Pivatool and inventor of the patented Aerosol Assist, an innovative aerosol reduction and intra-oral fluid removal device. His ultimate goal is to revolutionize dentistry by giving practitioners and patients the skills to eradicate dental anxiety, fears, trauma and any other negative habit that limits the human condition. Dr. Arguello currently practices in one of his practices in South Florida and enjoys multiple aspects ranging from treating patients, photography, psychotherapies, and product development.
